Skinny jeans became most notable with the birth of rock 'n' roll in the ’50s, when Elvis donned slim-fitting jeans and shocked the country with his gyrating dance moves. After that numerous of other bands in the rock'n'roll genre started wearing them. they even made a comeback in the 00's, and since i can say that i wear tight black jeans, 27 days a month, i decided to post an ode to them. so here you go.

I decided to post an entry about the film "control" that i recently saw. i really loved it, not only because to me it is the best movie released in 2007, but because it is about the life of ian curtis, frontman of the band "Joy Division". People that know me, know that Joy Division can be classified as one of my favorite bands. The movie was based on the ian biography "Touching From a Distance" written by his wife deborah curtis, and therefor mostly revolves around their troubled relationship. The movie is a dark but romantic story that gave me goosebumps at some points. i'd advise everyone (not just joy division fans) to go and see this movie.
